Three different examples from the EXPO 2000 World Exposition in Hanover, Germany, serve to demonstrate the immense versatility of BESISTA® tension bar systems when used in steelwork applications:

Deutsche Telekom’s T-Digit pavilion, in the form of a tilted cube, is probably the biggest eye-catcher. While the design concept behind the multimedia structure is all about communicating with the onlooker, at least one message comes across loud and clear: BESISTA® tension bar systems deliver successful solutions for even the most complex projects.

Since the curtain fell on EXPO 2000, the TUI Arena has served as an events venue. Here, the BESISTA® tension bar system is incorporated both as wind bracing with circular discs and for tying back the canopy.

Eco-efficient recycling and sustainability were key themes of the DSD Cycle Bowl. As a bar system specifically geared to the demands of environment, health and occupational safety, the BESISTA® tension bar system was a perfect match for both the architecture and concept of the pavilion.
