With its slender construction, the Ilzsteg pedestrian bridge in Passau, Germany, blends in unobtrusively with its untouched natural surrounding. For this filigree construction style, only BESISTA tension rod systems in hot-dip galvanized finish were used.

The guided bridge leads pedestrians and cyclists from a crossroad directly to the idyllic Bschütt park. Thus, BESISTA tension rod systems literally build a bridge between nature and its surrounding. This is not a coincidence, as environmental protection plays an important role at BESISTA® including the manufacturing process of the rod systems.
