The BESISTA tension rod systems and BESISTA compression strut systems 355 was used for the guy cables of the pylons at the ZOB (Central Bus Station) in Reutlingen, Germany. Due to the construction with gently curved corner nodes and delicate rod anchors the roofing of the Central Bus Station seems to be supported by a filigree web.

This early example of the use of BESISTA compression struts proves that compression struts and tension rods by BESISTA® have satisfied the highest demands in terms of safety, functionality and aesthetics even then. Since then, the BESISTA® success story has continued by constantly optimising the original.
