Modern and innovative – these attributes best describe the “Park Side” project in Zurich (Switzerland), which comprises a residential park and an office building. To meet the high quality requirements, only BESISTA® tension rod systems were used in the facade construction of the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) office building.

Blending seamlessly with the filigree glass assembly, the slender tension bars and rod anchors provide the stabilizing rear tensioning for the facade construction. On this project too, for maximum reliability and cost effectiveness, BESISTA® directly supplied the facade contractor with the tension rod systems.

Moreover, the construction demonstrates the excellent pre-tensioning capability of the BESISTA® tension rod system. Each tension rod system was pre-tensioned to 180 kN using BESISTA®‘s BVS-230 pre-tensioning system.
