This 400-meter-long beam bridge in Koblenz, Germany – better known as the „Europe bridge“ – leads straight over the river Mosel. In course of an extensive restoration work, the old tensile anchors in the crown hinges had to be replaced by a corrosion protected alternative. Eventually, only the tension rod systems BESISTA® met these requirements, which were then used in galvanized finish with hot-dip galvanized rod threads.

As shown in the picture, the pre-tensioning process is a matter of minutes thanks to the patent-registered BESISTA pre-tensioning system BVS 500 and can be carried out without effort by only one person.
