The tension tie systems BESISTA® are also often used in civil engineering projects. Since the conversion of the EWS-Arena in Göppingen into a multipurpose arena with an attached sports-hall for ball games, BESISTA tension tie systems are in use to reinforce the building.

Thanks to the practical tensioning sleeves it was possible to extend the adjustment lengths. Once again, the patent-registered pre-tensioning system BVS, which was developed by Dr.-Ing. Anton-Peter Betschart, enabled an efficient pre-tensioning process.

The EWS Arena is the home of the internationally successful handball team Frisch Auf Göppingen. Equally successful on the international scene are the tension tie systems BESISTA®, which are preferably used by planners and builders around the world.
