Reutlingen’s main bus interchange stands at the very heart of the bustling south German town. Here, the tension bar systems and the compression strut systems of BESISTA® play a pivotal role in the structural steelwork. The tension bar systems were used in all assemblies.

The visual appeal of the bus station shelters is enhanced by the interplay between the tension bars and compression struts with rod anchors / fork heads. All components were fabricated and supplied with a hot-dip galvanized finish that includes hot-dip galvanized rod threads. This was just one of the ways in which BESISTA®, as the first manufacturer of tension bar systems and compression strut systems, led the field from an early stage with regard to sustainability.
