BESISTA® tension bar systems played a pivotal role in the design of the new main stand, with its signature prongs, at Karlsruhe’s Wildparkstadion football ground. They feature in the ingenious structural steelwork as stabilizing wind braces with variously designed intersections and stiffening members in conjunction with the popular BESISTA® circular discs.

The glass stair tower and transparently modelled entrance fronts afford unobstructed views of the stadium. This made it all the more worthwhile to integrate the filigree BESISTA® tension bar systems – in this particular case, the forerunner BESISTA 1-460 tension bar system – into the design concept. This only underlines how, even years ago, architects and designers were already putting their faith in BESISTA®‘s elegantly crafted and reliable tension bar systems, with their manifold quality features.
